Important information

Toys are being marketed that operate on some frequencies that we use. To avoid incurring problems with 'runaway' boats please, temporarily, take care using the following crystals:-
27.145Mhz (yellow), 40.665, 40.675, 40.685, and 40.695Mhz.
These appear to be the most frequently used on these 'ready to run' boats, planes, cars, etc.
There is also a potential danger to the public with these planes and helicopters falling out of the sky due to legitimate operations nearby.  Please be vigilant.

We are the

SANDWELL MODEL BOAT CLUB

(Affiliated to the MODEL POWER BOAT ASSOCIATION)

We build and sail warships, racing and fishing boats, galleons, tugs and all manner of craft.

Our regular venue is at Dartmouth Park, West Bromwich, West Midlands We sail
Saturday mornings and Sundays on the boating pool. (From the M5 motorway,
junction 1, follow the signs for the Sandwell Park Farm)

The club usually meets on the fourth SUNDAY in each month,
 with some exceptions, at 10am in the
Barn Top Room (or Study Centre), Sandwell Park Farm,
Salters Lane, West Bromwich.

2008 dates are as follows:-

“   April 27th, 10 am
“    May 18th, 10 am
“   June 22nd, 10 am
“   July 27th, 10 am
“ August 31st, 10 am
“ September 28th, 10 am

No meeting in December
